Mr. Vedant Podar participated in the Tech Mahindra Global Chess League in Mumbai.

Chess as a sport has grown tremendously over the years, and as someone who has played the game for over two decades, he feels proud to witness its rising popularity and global stature. Watching the World Champion Gukesh Dommaraju compete against a legend of Indian chess, Mr. Viswanathan Anand, in the presence of Arkady Dvorkovich and several other Grandmasters, was truly a memorable experience for him.

The League was envisioned and organized by Mr. Anand Mahindra who puts continued efforts in growing the sport of chess. Mr. Vedant had the opportunity to interact with him and discuss regarding the game and future prospects.
